What is Tessellation?

Tessellation is an arrangement of shapes closely fitted carefully together, especially the hexagons because it's on soccer balls/footballs. It also when you repeat a pattern kinda making an illusion in some way if you were making your pattern smaller making your audience amazed.

Cross Country

The last day of training. The field was all muddy and gooey, filled with muddy puddles. i wanted to try with bare feet just this once, but boy was I sure in for a muddy run. As I stepped onto the field starting to run faster ... SPLASH! My legs were covered in oozey sticky mud. I felt like I needed to wash my feet  REALLY BADLY, but as I kept running I realized I enjoyed this and I was soon running faster and faster like a cheetah. Then I thought to myself "Oh no I have to go up that hill" now I wish I did have my shoes on. I was up to the obstacle I feared the most, the BIG steep hill. When I realized I was going TOO fast down the hill ... It was too late BANG! I banged into a tree I thought I went unconscious for a second, but I continued running trying desperately hard not to think of my muddy uniform. When I reached the gate I thought of it as sighn that I was getting closer to the finish line. Once I returned to the front line (like it was torture) I ran and ran racing up the hill then I didn't want to slip so I slowed down. When I went up the gate I went just a smigeon faster when  ran across the finish line I felt so relieved as if we won a big war. I loved every moment except for the oozey mud on my legs.

Swimming

SCREECH! that was the sound the bus door made, as it opened up.Today was another epically exciting day for... SWIMMING... I SAID SWIMMING! As we lined up my heart was pumping loudly because I was so excited, I felt like my heart was going to POP out in a couple of seconds. I quickly got changed and walked toward the doors and opened it. The teacher instructed us to put our bag down on the blue bench. We had to wait for the others to get changed, it was perfect because we also had to wait for the other class. Our swimming teacher for lane 3 said we could dive in, the funny part was I wanted to see how it felt to get pushed in the pool.So I asked someone in my group to push me and it was surprisingly very fun. Soon we started off with a simple warm up, kicking. Afterwards we started freestyle and I think I need heaps and heaps of work on freestyle! Over all I think today was a lovely day.

Swimming

Swimming

Today we went to the Millennium to go swimming. There are 4 lanes , lane 1 for beginners , lane 2 for okay , lane 3 for confident , lane 4 THE BEST! At the start I was in lane 2 then I moved up to LANE 3. So today when we went swimming we got changed and headed towards the pool, we put our bag down and DIVED IN THE POOL. Our lane began with a simple warm up we were kicking, we did 2 laps kicking to the end and to the other end. We did all sorts of swimming. After I was absolutely exhausted, we got changed again and lined up and headed back to the bus.
