Rain Writing

                              Rain Writing

My writing goal so far this term has been to write complete sentences showing where one sentence ends by putting appropriate punctuation, and starting the next sentence with a capital letter.

Here is a piece of writing about the rain

DRIP DROP SPLISH SPLASH

I look outside my window. Rain falls down onto the ground, smashing down like a pile of paper slamming down onto a desk. As the rain starts getting heavier, it paints the window, puddles start to form and I see people opening their umbrellas.  Little kids are running around and screaming frantically “ A TORNADO IS COMING HIDE!!” I simply ignore them and keep staring outside my window and imagine what it would be like if i were out there.

I see children scampering around like a bunch of wild horses, they are all desperate to get shelter since the rain was so loud and heavy.  Suddenly the rain stops. There is an ominous silence that which I take my time to slowly get up. I am silent.

The sun came out, puddles started drying up everything returned back to normal. Except one thing… It rained again. ; - ;

So how do you think I’m going with my goal?
